Boris, the Dirtsurfer Distributor in Russia, has sent us this update on the recently held Moscow Open.
There were eighteen men and five women who braved 1 degree temperatures to race their Dirtsurfers down a 300 meter road course. The riders came from Moscow, St. Peterburg, Sochi, Saransk, and Elbrus. Victor Sarsnskiy took first place in the Dirtsurfer event.
From the looks of the photo above, three women made it to the winners podium.
Information on the event was announced on onboard.ru, kant.ru, trial-sport.ru, and many
other web sites.
Two Russian extreme sports channels recorded the event. One of the channels is making a 24 min program about Dirtsurfer.
It looks like things in Russia are starting to get some momentum. Congratulations to Boris and the Russian Dirtsurfer team. We look forward to hearing much more from them in the future.
